Morning after breakfast, depart for cultural and historical tour around Nepal's best World Heritage Sites. Tour of old Durbar Square (Palace Courtyard). The famous ancient Swyambhunath Stupa, includes places of interest, rest of the day preparations for the treks.

Morning starts with an early breakfast for an exciting overland journey to the trekking put-in-point at Arughat Bazaar. Located Nepal Mid-West around Gorkha district, 

enroute Manaslu Circuit, Tsum Valley and Ganesh Himal. The drive follows on the main highway along the Trisuli River a popular rafting river. Our route diverts heading across Trisuli River reaching the district of Dhading and then on winding downhill to Arughat Bazaar. Situated close on the bank of raging Buddhi Gandaki River flows from the source of Manaslu and Ganesh Himal glaciers. Arughat Bazaar a major town for the mountain folks to purchase provisions. Overnight in the comfort of a nice simple lodge, with time to explore the town and observe the local cultures.

Starting the first day of trekking following a jeep mud track for some time. Slowly the walk heads to slow climb reaching Arkhet a farming village inhabited by Magar and Gurung hill tribes. After a refreshing stop our route diverts heading north east across a suspension bridge. From here the trek follows on off-the-beaten trails, seldom visited by few groups of trekkers. The trail leads through nice terraced farmland and isolated farm areas and villages. Then coming across few short sections of newly constructed motorable dirt tracks, following on the winding uphill to Lapu Danda. The overnight camp is set on the old farm terraces with views of Sringi Himal (7161m) towards upper Buddhi Gandaki River.

Morning having good breakfast, the walk follows through the farm fields and heading towards spread out houses of Manbu village. Then, after a short rest walk continues above the Budhi Gandaki River. As walk follows past few rural farm areas then climb leads to Dhunchet, a large. Possible lunch stop, from here afternoon trek leads through sparse forest and pretty terraced farmland. Walk on stone steps to reach an open area with views of snow peaks towards north across the deep valley. Finally, the day ends reaching an old farm area at Lamo Dhunga. From the camp enjoy the views of Bauddha Himal and Himal Chuli snow-capped peaks.

From Lamo Dhunga leaving the last farm settlement of Lamo Dhunga, morning walk follows through lovely woods. As the trail get narrow in few sections and crossing few streams and climb towards terraced fields. The walk slowly gains height steadily then reaching several temporary cattle herder’s shelters. Where our overnight camp is set, this place known as Nauban Kharka offers great views Annapurna’s. Includes Machhapuchare Himal the 'Fish Tail' peak towards far west horizon with close views of Bauddha Himal and Himal Chuli.

After Nauban Kharka, our route heads towards north-east to cross the Myanghal Bhanjyang and descend to Lapa Gaon. An exciting adventure crossing over high ridges; the walk leads through mixed forest then climb across Myanghal Bhanjyang at 2,975m. On top adorned with stone cairn and Buddhist prayer flags, enjoy the surrounding views and then descend through the forest. As the walk leads with close views of Ganesh Himal with prominent Paldor Peak. 

After the downhill and climb to the second-high ridge facing clear views of Ganesh III, IV and V with Paldor peak. Then the walk leads to a long descend leaving the dense forest to reach a wide valley at Lapa Khola. Finally, the day completes on reaching the school playground at Lapa Gaon. The camp is set close to the farm village of Lapa Gaon, and enjoy the views of the snow peaks.

Enjoy the pleasant and superb day's walks, as the trail leads to relatively gradual trekking. The walk follows contouring high above the river valley with grand views of the valley far below. The trail is newly renovated and good condition as the walk leads through several smaller settlements perched on the hillside. Our route leads downhill after a short uphill reaching the village of Lapchet for possible lunch stop. The walk continues with descend to the river before climbing to Rachyat. Along the trail encounter several beautiful old chortens/stupas, then finally ending the day reaching Tirigaon via Rachyat villages. The areas are inhabited by a mixture of Gurung and Tamang, overnight camp is set on available farm field or in school yard.

The walk today leads through lovely woodland to reach the last village of remote Dhading district. The trail follows on a newly built motorable dirt road for short while. The climb then reaches a high ridge with great views of the massif Ganesh Himal. From here, the track leads through picturesque terraced fields and to cross another ridge marked with chortens and prayer flags. 
 

Enjoy the grand views of surrounding beautiful landscapes and snow peaks. Slowly the trail descends towards the thriving settlement of Shertung in time for lunch and overnight stop. After getting organized enjoy a short hike to Phyangchet Monastery, situated on the route towards the Shing La Pass. The monastery was damaged by the 2015 earthquake and a robust timber construction has taken its place. Nevertheless, the village itself is an exciting to explore inhabited by mostly Tamang’s, follows mixed Buddhism and Bon sect of pre-Buddhist, practice of shamanistic beliefs.

Enjoy the refreshing morning in Shertung, the name Shertung which means “a place of gold”. As per the story of two brothers in search of gold and discovered this lovely spot by a dream. Which inspired them to settle, the village is largely dominated by the Tamang’s who follows Buddhism and worship of shamanism. Explore village school and hospital and tour of Phyangchet Monastery, situated on hill above the village. From Shertung few hours of good hike to overnight camp at Machhyang Kharka offers grand views of Ganesh and Manaslu Himalayas.

Morning hike to Machhangbo high view-point, and enjoy the magnificent views of the snowy peaks towards north and east. From here downhill to join the main route towards Shing La Pass the highest point of the adventures. 

A slow short climb to the top of Sing La Pass, then enjoy the spectacular panorama of the Manaslu massif. Includes, views of Ganesh Himal and the peaks of the Annapurna Himal beyond. After a glorious views descend leads to the large green meadows at Rupchet for overnight camp.

On leaving the nice camp sites, the route skirts through dense rhododendron forest to an open moorland. After a short stop along with grand views, then enter back into the forest. The climb follows onto a narrow ridge for a short while then heading downhill reaching a wide open field. A small place with a stone hut and a good pasture field for overnight camp at Gokchet. Located below the Sing La pass, a fantastic spot for camping with far-reaching views of the Himalayan peaks.

 Today is the last day of trekking, the walk begins with a short climb and then downhill towards a roadside. Overlooking views of Dhunche Town in the far north east direction and towards Gosainkunda ridges. The walk follows through rhododendron and pine forest towards an open grazing area near a small Gompa of Kaule. The trek continues with picturesque scenery of dramatic landscape of mixed forest, farm terraced and villages. 

After the leisurely breakfast, board in vehicle for an exciting drive back to Kathmandu. The first few hours on bumpy dirt winding jeep tracks till to the main highway. The drive gets better entering the busy road, as it climbs ups reaching outskirt of Kathmandu Valley. From the high end of western valley an hour of pleasant ride to the bustling city.

Last day in Kathmandu and Nepal, after an overwhelming adventure and experience. Around the high hills and valleys of Mid-West Nepal around the scenic Ganesh Himal & Sing-La Trekking. As time for the international flight, transfer to the airport. Then bidding farewell to Nepal, guide and staff; as you enter the air terminal for homeward bound or to next port of call.
