Morning after breakfast, depart for cultural and historical tour around Nepal's best World Heritage Sites. Tour of old Durbar Square (Palace Courtyard). The famous ancient Swyambhunath Stupa, includes places of interest, rest of the day preparations for the treks.

Adventure begins with an exciting panoramic flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara.
Enjoy the Himalayan chain of peaks from Langtang, Ganesh, Manaslu Himal to Annapurna ranges. On arrival at Pokhara airport, board in the 4WD Jeep or similar vehicle. An exciting drive on the scenic highway heading further west with grand vista of Annapurna Himalayan peaks. The drive then reaches Nayapul, a busy town located on the main highway, lined with shops, stores and smaller restaurants. From the drive heads west past nice village of Birethati, following the rough dirt country road to Hille. Start the trek climbing uphill on stone steps enjoying the views of waterfalls and farm villages. Ulleri a large spread out village, from here the air gets cooler with lovely views of snow-capped peaks. On arrival transfer to nice mountain lodge, having time to explore the village with beautiful scenery.

Enjoy the morning views of surrounding beautiful landscapes of rolling hills with series of farm terraces. Includes views of Annapurna peaks, from Ulleri walk leads to Ghorepani Village. Enjoy a short morning walks of few hours, the trail follows to gradual winding ups through rhododendrons and pine forest. 

After a pleasant walk reaches Ghorepani village, located on a high ridge amidst beautiful rhododendron and pine tree lines. On arrival transfer to a nice lodge for lunch and overnight with stunning views of Dhaulagiri Himal. 

Afternoon at leisure to explore the scenic surroundings, and marvel the beautiful views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna peaks.

The morning starts early with climb up to Poon Hill, located above famous Ghorepani Village. From Poon Hill enjoy the striking sunrise views along with panorama of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri’s Himal. Includes Annapurna and Manaslu Himal ranges with majestic Machhapuchare Himal, the Fish-Tail Peak. 

After a refreshing morning views, walk back to Ghorepani and continue trek down to Chitre Village. From here Chitre our route diverts on the off-the beaten tracks heading down and up crossing a small stream. After a short climb reaching Sauta farm village for overnight halt. Sauta is the gateway to Khair Lake and Khopra Ridge our next destination. Enjoy the comfort of a nice simple lodge with grand views of Dhaulagiri Himal.

Today one of the longest walk of the adventure to Khopra Ridge, start the morning with early breakfast. Leaving Sauta Village with climb through rhododendron and bamboo forest, the path follows past grazing pasture areas. Then reaching Chistibung for possible lunch stop, a small settlement with few Tea Houses and small shops. Afternoon few hours climb to Khopra Ridge, heading above the tree lines. The uphill continues on a grassy path then reaching an open ridge at Khopra. Enjoy the fantastic close views of Annapurna South with Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri’s and Annapurna Fang, Vara Shikar peaks. 

Khopra Ridge offers few good simple lodge, enjoy the overnight with spectacular scenery of the mountain range that surrounds the Khopra Ridge.

From Khopra rising early carrying packed lunch, start the morning hike to holy Khair Lake, the highlight of the trek. The walk follows on winding narrow path close to Annapurna South Peak. A short climb and then descend to the holy site of Khair Lake. An exciting spot to experience amidst towering Snow Mountains that surrounds the Khair Lake. A sacred site for the Hindu followers, once a year a religious festival is held in monsoon time August. Villagers from surrounding area converge to offer prayers and worship to Lord Shiva, and bathe in the holy pond. 

Enjoying wonderful experience at Khair Lake, return hike on the same route back to Khopra Ridge. After a long day hiking, and enjoy the last overnight on the highest point of the adventures. For people with easier options, is short hike up to ridge offers fantastic views of Dhaulagiri I (8,167m). Includes satellite peaks, with Annapurna I (8,091m), Fang or Vara Shikhar (7,647m), Annapurna South (7,237m) and the Nilgiri’s (7,061m). 

From Khopra Ridge, morning walk descend close to Chistibung, then head east with climb through grazing pastures amidst scrub rhododendron. This area is often visited in the monsoon by the villagers for animals to graze. As the walk proceeds entering dense forest and shortly reaching a wide open meadow at Bhaise Kharka for overnight stop. Accommodation in a nice simple lodge amidst tranquil surrounding with beautiful scenery.

Another short day walk, allowing ample time to enjoy the beautiful scenery before ending the trek at Ghandruk. From Bhaise Kharka, walk leads to a short narrow path, in snow condition can be quite strenuous. After an hour reaching to a wide areas covered in rhododendron and pine forest. The walk gets better on winding path with short ups and down to Dobato. Means a place in the mid-way of Ghandruk and Khopra Ridge, a lovely scenic spot with few simple lodges. From this small settlement, enjoy the stunning views of Annapurna Himalayan range with Mt. Machhapuchare the famous fish-tail peak.

Enjoying a pleasant overnight in Ghandruk, morning after breakfast a short walk to the parking lot. From here enjoy an exciting drive on four wheelers or similar vehicles. The drive leads on winding downhill to Modi River, then follows the river past Birethati Village and back to Nayapul. From here the drive gets better reaching the main Pokhara Highway. After few hours of interesting journey, reaching Pokhara and back to respective hotels by the Phewa Lakeside. 

Rest of the day relax or enjoy individual activities. Pokhara is famous for adventure sports, like Paragliding, Zip-Line, and Bungee or just relax and marvel the views of Annapurna Himalayas. 

Morning transfer to Pokhara airport, for smooth short flight to Kathmandu. After a great adventure and wonderful experience on Khopra Ridge and Khair Lake Trekking. Rest of the day at leisure for individual activities and shopping souvenirs or join in for short tour around places of great interest. 

Last day in Kathmandu and Nepal, after an overwhelming adventure and experience. Around the high hills and valleys of Mid-West Nepal around the scenic Khopra Ridge and Khair Lake Trekking. As time for the international flight, transfer to the airport. Then bidding farewell to Nepal, guide and staff; as you enter the air terminal for homeward bound or to next port of call.
