After your first night in Kathmandu, you will be doing a half day guided sightseeing tour in Kathmandu at places of interest. Sometime, depending upon your flight arrival if it's late in the night we will do this tour in the afternoon instead of morning to give you a nice rest before you venture out of the Hotel in our interesting tour. The sightseeing places could be Pashupatinath, famous Hindu Temple combined with Bouddhanath, a Buddhist Shine or Kathmandu Durbar Square, famous for its old architecture and place where you can visit living goddess with Swyambhunath, commonly known as Monkey Temple. 

Early breakfast, then travel by air or a Deluxe Coach to Pokhara on the busy scenic highway. This is an interesting drive through the foothills of the Himalaya. The road has been greatly improved in recent years. If you take the flight option, its scenic half an hour flight to the Lake District of Nepal. 

On reaching Pokhara transfer to Hotel for the overnight stop by the lake Phewa with time for a short walk around.

After breakfast, meet the Sherpa crew and drive towards Kande on Pokhara to Beni highway. After a short drive of one hours brings you to the starting point of the trek. The trek passes through popular Australian Camp and passes through rhododendron forests to your first night stop at Deurali which is also known as Pitam Deurali with 4 hours of walk. 

The trek continues passing through forest of rhododendron, oak, maple and hemlock. You will be slowly gaining height walking through the greenery which will be helping you to continue your pace. During the trek you might have occasional sight of wildlife and birds. 

You will continue the walk by trekking uphill in the woods for another couple of hours. The trek this section is bit difficult comparing to previous days. You will reach the Low Base Camp of Mardi Himal, some people prefer to stay overnight here but we will continue further up to Badal Danda which will be about half an hour further and its worth walking extra hour as the place offers excellent mountain views. 

The walking continues walking uphill along the ridge leaving the jungles behind. In a clear day, you can have a spectacular views of Fishtail Mountain along with great views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and other nearby peaks. It’s a short walk but it will give you plenty of time to soak in the spectacular mountain range. In the afternoon you will hike to the view point to enjoy the sunset over Himalayas. 

An early morning start to reach our final destination of Mardi Himal Base Camp. You will carry your pack lunch for the day as there is no lodge at Base Camp area. Start the walk on steep steps along the ridge to get to the highest point of the trek at 4,500m at Mardi Himal Base Camp. Enjoy the views of giant Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Fishtail, Gangapurna and of course the Mardi Himal from its base and along the way. After spending sometime, its time to retrace the journey soaking the beautiful vistas to middle camp, which will make our final days walk easier. 

From the Middle Camp, trek continues descending down with occasional views of the mountains to reach the finishing point of your trek at Shidding Village. Meet the transport and time to return back to Pokhara on a rough road with about 3 hours drive. 

According to the package you have taken, its time to return back to Kathmandu with good memories of short but beautiful trekking adventure. Upon arrival at Kathmandu, afternoon will be free for optional sightseeing tour or visiting Thamel for last moment souvenir shopping and enjoy a nice celebratory meal at Kathmandu before returning back home. 

Today as per your international flight time, keep your confirmed air ticket, and your passport handy. Our staff will take you to the airport for your final departure from this amazing country, Nepal.
